In times when our country and its institutions are committed to a thorough re-evaluation and re-assessment of "The Other" through military campaigns, the building of walls South of the Border, the rhetoric of presidential hopefuls, landmark Supreme Court rulings, and the re-imagining of immigration policy and FAA standards, this project takes on the same preoccupations from the context of a refugee tent on a hill in suburban Valencia, a half hour away from Los Angeles.
